Andrea Bocelli to Perform in Barclays Center for Second Time in 15 Months

As the biggest-selling classical music artist of all time, Andrea Bocelli has no shortage of honors.
Now he has a local one.

On Dec. 11, the pop-opera star will become the first artist to headline the Barclays Center twice, achieving that distinction in less than 15 months.

Not that the 55-year-old Italian star needs any more public affection. He has sold some 80 million albums worldwide, racking up seven top-10 discs on the U.S. pop charts and 10 on America’s classical CD list. His “Sacred Arias” ranks as the biggest-selling classical solo album in history.
