Tickets for Barclays Center Classic to go on Sale Monday, March 12

BROOKLYN – Tickets for the Barclays Center Classic college basketball event, featuring the currently No. 1 ranked Kentucky Wildcats vs. the Maryland Terrapins, will go on sale Monday, March 12 at 10 a.m. Tickets will be available through Ticketmaster by visiting www.barclayscenter.com or www.ticketmaster.com, or by calling 800-745-3000.

Presented by Sheets™ Brand Energy Strips, the Barclays Center Classic will open on Friday, November 9 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. The Northeast Conference is the sponsoring conference for the Barclays Center Classic.

The Barclays Center Classic presented by Sheets™ Brand Energy Strips will be the first college basketball event to be played at the arena. The event starts with a doubleheader, which includes the Kentucky-Maryland game and LIU Brooklyn vs. Morehead State. The rest of the event will be contested on campus sites, which includes Lafayette.

We will soon announce on-sale dates for other major events coming to Brooklyn as we prepare for the grand opening of the arena on September 28.”

The Barclays Center Classic presented by Sheets™ Brand Energy Strips will be a staple of the prestigious college basketball programming already confirmed for Barclays Center, which includes: the BROOKLYN HOOPS™ Winter Festival featuring Michigan vs. West Virginia, the BROOKLYN HOOPS™ Holiday Invitational, the Atlantic 10 Conference Championship, Coaches vs. Cancer Classic, and Legends Classic.
