Redefining the guest experience
Barclays Center is teaming with Disney Institute in striving to redefine the guest experience for major sports and entertainment venues in New York.
In bringing the world-renowned Disney customer experience to Brooklyn when the arena opens in September 2012, Barclays Center will provide visitors with unmatched ‘Street-to-Seat’ service and hospitality.
“Anybody who has visited Walt Disney World recognizes that Disney delivers the preeminent customer experience and that’s what we plan to bring to our guests at Barclays Center,” said Barclays Center CEO Brett Yormark. “Through our alliance with Disney Institute, we will employ the Disney approach to guest services at Barclays Center to create a truly unique fan experience in one of the most stunningly designed venues in the world.”
As part of its comprehensive, customized approach to Barclays Center, Disney Institute will offer unique experiential services and best practice training for arena staff, as well as recommendations and input on creative design ideas such as signage, guest flow, and in-game staff outfitting.
