What Fans Can Expect Upon Returning to Barclays Center

Barclays Center is committed to hosting world-class sports and entertainment with the primary goal of keeping all fans, guests, employees, players, and performers safe. Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have been working diligently with the NBA, the WNBA, New York State, New York City, and our own medical experts, as informed by the CDC, to establish and implement health and safety protocols for anyone who enters the arena.

Please note that, per current government guidelines for attending indoor events at venues such as Barclays Center, all guests ages 12 and older must provide proof of a COVID-19 vaccination, which means you’ve had at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. Barclays Center requires facemask for all individuals over age 2 who are not fully vaccinated (those individuals who have not received their last dose of COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days prior to the event). Certain event promoters may independently make additional requirements which could include, without limitation, proof of full COVID-19 vaccination, mandatory facemask, or evidence of a COVID-19 negative test result. We will advise primary ticket purchasers for each event of the health and safety protocols ultimately applicable to such event when determined, which shall, as applicable, be informed by CDC, State, City, event promoter, and/or sport governing body COVID-19 health and safety guidance and protocols. Please see below for the current baseline health and safety protocols for Barclays Center at this time.

There are approximately 450 touchless hand sanitizer stations (dispensing solution with at least 70% alcohol) throughout Barclays Center, and we have installed additional touchless faucets, paper towel dispensers, and soap dispensers in arena restrooms and suites.

PLEXIGLASS DIVIDERS

Are There Vaccination Requirements for Guests Ages 12 and Older Attending an Event?

Yes, per current government guidelines for attending indoor events at venues such as Barclays Center, all guests ages 12 and older must provide proof of a COVID-19 vaccination, which means you’ve had at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.

Proof of COVID-19 vaccination may be demonstrated by displaying a photo or hard copy of a CDC vaccination card, NYC COVID Safe App, New York State Excelsior App, or an official vaccination record (please note that the New York State Excelsior App is only available to those who are fully vaccinated). We ask that you have such proof readily available prior to arriving at the venue.

Anyone 18 years or older must also present an appropriate ID with proof of vaccination, which must contain the name of the individual, and a photo of the individual or the individual’s date of birth. Examples of acceptable forms of identification include but are not limited to a driver’s license, non-driver government ID card, IDNYC card, passport, or school or work ID card.

Please note that some events may require that all guests be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. In addition to this, government mandates, venue protocols and event requirements are subject to change. Therefore, we encourage guests to check back prior to event day and please continue to be on the lookout for emails from Barclays Center.

What are the entry requirements for guests under 12 years old?

Children under 12 years old do not need to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test. Children ages 2 to 11 will be required to wear a mask while inside the venue, except while actively eating or drinking.

Please note that government mandates and regulations, venue protocols and event requirements are subject to change. We encourage guests to check back prior to event day and please continue to be on the lookout for emails from Barclays Center.

Which Vaccines Are Accepted for Entry?

Everyone else age 2 and older must wear a facemask at all times in the venue. Facemasks are not required while actively eating or drinking.
