How we’re taking
What Fans Can Expect Upon Returning to Barclays Center
Barclays Center is committed to hosting world-class sports and entertainment with the primary goal of keeping all fans, guests, employees, players, and performers safe. Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have been working diligently with the NBA, the WNBA, New York State, New York City, and our own medical experts, as informed by the CDC, to establish and implement health and safety protocols for anyone who enters the arena.
The number of patrons permitted to attend events at Barclays Center is subject to New York State, NBA, and WNBA guidelines. Guests will be notified about specific protocols (including any required advanced COVID-19 testing) necessary to attend events in-person at the time of purchasing tickets. Each event ticket will be provided in a digital format and will also contain standard “ticket-back” terms, including health and safety requirements (to which each patron attending a Barclays Center event shall be subject).
Safety Measures at Barclays Center
All patrons and employees will be subject COVID-19 testing protocols, subject to any applicable vaccine exemptions.
Signage has been installed throughout Barclays Center addressing COVID-19 protocols and CDC prevention tips.
SECURITY BAG CHECKS
Guest bag security checks will be performed by X-ray machines to ensure a touchless experience for personal items (click here for our current bag policy).
Subject to change, vaccinated and non-vaccinated patrons are required to wear a mask at all times unless eating or drinking.
FOOD & BEVERAGE
Guests may eat in their seating locations (with the exception of courtside where no eating or drinking is permitted).
Enhancements Made to Barclays Center
AIR QUALITY & FILTRATION

We have implemented enhanced cleaning and disinfecting procedures intended to reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19. These procedures have been informed by the NBA, current CDC guidance, global industry best practices, and industry experts.
There are approximately 450 touchless hand sanitizer stations (dispensing solution with at least 70% alcohol) throughout Barclays Center, and we have installed additional touchless faucets, paper towel dispensers, and soap dispensers in arena restrooms and suites.
We have installed plexiglass dividers at various locations throughout Barclays Center to further reduce risk.
