DESCRIPTION:The Social Justice Fund’s Belong Brooklyn campaign was launched in 2022 to foster important conversation around "belonging" and what it means for our communities here in Brooklyn and around the world.This year’s campaign will emphasize women's health equity as an essential right and critical to true belonging and equality. In Brooklyn, Black mothers are nine times more likely to die of pregnancy-related complications than their white counterparts due to inequities in maternal healthcare access and quality.This year’s You Belong Here campaign will host an event at the plaza at Barclays Center in collaboration with Angela Yee Day on Sunday, August 27 at 12:00PM – 5:00PM.
