Hallelujah! Legendary singer, songwriter Leonard Cohen to perform at Barclays Center in Brooklyn December 20

BROOKLYN -Legendary singer, songwriter, and poet Leonard Cohen will perform at Barclays Center in Brooklyn on December 20 to close his ‘Old Ideas World Tour 2012.’ Tickets for the concert will go on sale on Friday, May 18 at noon and will be available through Ticketmaster by visiting www.barclayscenter.com or www.ticketmaster.com, or by calling 800-745-3000.

With a career spanning five decades, Cohen has sold more than 20 million albums with classic hits such as ‘Hallelujah’ and ‘Suzanne.’  The world-acclaimed artist has been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame (2008), and the Songwriters Hall Of Fame (2010), and is a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award Recipient (2010).

The North American leg of Cohen’s ‘Old Ideas World Tour 2012’ celebrates Cohen’s highly acclaimed twelfth studio album, Old Ideas, released on January 31, 2012. The ‘Old Ideas World Tour 2012’ follows Cohen’s triumphant 2008-2010 world tour – his first in 15 years — which was met with overwhelming praise.
