BROOKLYN (December 18, 2013) – New York Life, one of the largest life insurers in the world and an iconic New York institution, has formed a multi-faceted alliance with the Brooklyn Nets and Barclays Center.

A member of the prestigious Fortune 100, New York Life will receive in-game signage during Brooklyn Nets home games at Barclays Center, as well as engagement through its Sharing Life Lessons in the Community social initiative. Life Lessons with the Brooklyn Nets presented by New York Life will be featured on Nets controlled social media platforms, such as Facebook and YouTube.

As part of the integrated marketing platform, New York Life will receive extensive in-arena branding through select Barclays Center controlled assets, including a presence during BROOKLYN HOOPS™ college basketball events and BROOKLYN FAMILY™ shows. In addition, New York Life will become a part of the Barclays Center Business Alliance.

Barclays Center will also team with New York Life to create a social platform where fans can use Barclays Center social media outlets to share their inspiring stories of how they #KeepGoodGoinginBrooklyn. Fans who participate will then be entered for a chance to be a VIP at a future Barclays Center event.

“The Brooklyn Nets and Barclays Center are proud to align with such a world-class and reputable company as New York Life, one of the most admired and innovative businesses in the world,” said Brooklyn Nets and Barclays Center CEO Brett Yormark. “New York Life has long dedicated itself to providing exceptional service and we are delighted to continue to partner with companies that share our unwavering devotion to our customers.”

This sponsorship is an outstanding opportunity to connect with consumers and promote our Keep Good Going campaign. It also allows our agents to deepen relationships with fans and families who will attend numerous events like the Brooklyn Nets, college basketball and family shows.”
