Barclays Center To Host First-ever Summer Sessions Concert Series On Venue’s Plaza

BROOKLYN (June 12, 2019) – This summer, Barclays Center will host the first-ever Summer Sessions Concert Series on the venue’s Resorts World Casino NYC Plaza. The Summer Sessionslineup will include performances from a variety of local and emerging artists, beginning with Donwill and Nappy Nina on Friday, June 21.


Summer Sessions will be free to attend and will include a series of rotating food trucks offering food and non-alcoholic beverages for purchase, and will feature The Sausage Kings at the first event on June 21. 


In addition to Nappy Nina, an Oakland-native turned Brooklyn-resident MC, who released her latest album, The Tree Act, in January, the Summer Sessions lineup is highlighted by artists such as: MICK, a Brooklyn-based DJ whose musical credits include projects with Busta Rhymes and Adele, and who has spun for icons including JAY-Z, Michelle Obama, and LeBron James.Andy Suzuki & The Method, a New York City-based band, who has toured in support of artists like Ringo Starr, Eric Hutchinson, and Sister Hazel, among others. The band released its latest album, Alibi, in January.
