Barclays Center Welcomes 10 Millionth Guest

Nov 17, 2017

Just over five years since the venue opened its doors, Barclays Center has welcomed its 10 millionth guest. The lucky winner, Daniel Zwirn, was surprised with the honor as he entered the venue for the Brooklyn Nets vs. Utah Jazz game on Friday, Nov. 17, which the Nets won 118-107. Zwirn attended the game with his wife, two sons, and two friends.

At the game, the Zwirn party was treated to the Ultimate Barclays Center Fan Experience, featuring upgraded seats; dinner in the venue’s new Parm Italian Restaurant; a trip to the Swag Shop; and a private meet and greet with Nets player Joe Harris. During the game, Zwirn was presented with a commemorative ten millionth guest ticket by Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment CEO Brett Yormark.  The family will also receive tickets to attend dozens of future Barclays Center events.

Zwirn, originally from Pittsburgh, lives in Manhattan and regularly goes to Brooklyn Nets games with his family.

“We love Barclays Center,” said Zwirn. “We were shocked. The kids were ecstatic. Can’t believe it. They’re most excited to meet a real player. They can’t believe it. They’re tremendous fans.”
