BROOKLYN (November 3, 2014) – JetBlue Airways (Nasdaq: JBLU), New York’s Hometown Airline™, has formed major multi-faceted partnerships with Barclays Center, the Brooklyn Nets, and the New York Islanders in Brooklyn.

As the Official Domestic Airline of Barclays Center, the Nets and the Islanders in Brooklyn, JetBlue receives extensive digital street-to-seat signage for all arena events, as well as other branding through select Barclays Center, Nets, and Islanders controlled assets. The 11th Founding Partner of Barclays Center, JetBlue will also reward guests with free flights through in-event and social media promotions.   

JetBlue’s multi-faceted alliance with the Nets marks the team’s first partner to receive Scorer’s Table Plus, permanent television visible signage positioned behind the scorer’s table at all home games, as well as strategic branding and social media messaging.

As the first official partner of the Islanders in Brooklyn, the agreement includes a television visible dasherboard, presenting sponsor for one game, and other strategic branding and social assets. The Islanders will move to Barclays Center for the 2015-16 season.

In celebration of the new alliances and its commitment to Brooklyn, JetBlue is throwing a fan rally on Barclays Center Plaza before the Nets host the Knicks on Nov. 7. Beginning at 5:30 p.m. and running through game-time, fans will have the chance to participate in a basketball shooting contest to win free JetBlue domestic flights, as well as to take photos with Brooklynettes dancers.

JetBlue will also hold a coat drive in which fans who donate a winter coat will have a chance to win premium tickets to a Nets game this season.
